COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO

It goes without saying that the world is currently facing a pandemic caused by the COVID-19 outbreak and that this disease affects not only health but also economic issues throughout the planet.

The United Nations Foundation and the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation have created the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO (World Health Organization) and partners in a massive effort to help countries - especially those most in need - to prevent, detect and manage the new coronavirus.

WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for international health issues in the United Nations system, they provide support to governments, foundations and civil organizations to achieve health goals.

Why did I choose them for the monthly donation?

WHO is currently responding to COVID-19, giving courses, guidance documents, and health advice, sending essential supplies to health personnel, coordinating research to accelerate the discovery and development of vaccines, diagnostic tests, treatments, and therapies, among so many other tasks of great importance to soon be able to control this disease.

Donations support WHO's work, enabling them to move forward with their goals. It is time to stay together, to stay home as long as possible and to attend all the preventive measures recommended by the WHO.
